Coach Laura’s 8 week “Mobility & Mirror Muscles” strength program is perfect for your 2020 season, or off-season, or whatever this is. Without races, this is the perfect time to create a foundation of durability upon which you can take your training to the next level.
Coach Laura says, “Usually I’m opposed to creating strength workouts that aren’t solely functional, but since 2020 isn’t functional in general, let’s work on those muscles that make us look good too. Of course I’ll have to include some mobility, stability, and injury prevention to round it out. There will also be time for Q&A because strength training without body awareness and intention won’t create the outcomes you desire.”
Each workout will include modifications for ability level and/or mobility limitations. The majority of the exercises can be done without equipment, and there will be instruction for how to do the exercises with and without weight. Before each workout, Coach Laura will send out a list of equipment that would be useful to bring.
